newmo、京急タクシーを傘下に神奈川・東京進出 新社名「うみかぜ交通」
newmoは、京急タクシーグループ6社の全株式を3月31日付で譲り受ける。譲受完了後は新体制で事業を運営し、新社名および新ブランド名を「うみかぜ交通」に刷新する。newmoは本件を通じて、神奈川・東京でタクシー事業を展開する。
譲受対象は、京浜急行電鉄の連結子会社である京急交通、京急横浜自動車、京急文庫タクシー、京急葉山交通、京急中央交通、京急三崎タクシーの6社。
京急タクシーグループ6社は、京浜交通圏、湘南交通圏、特別区・武三交通圏で、車両400台、乗務員600名以上の体制を構築。沿線地域の移動を支える交通インフラとして事業を展開してきた。
newmoは今後、大阪で培った経営ノウハウを活かし、積極的な乗務員採用や稼働率の向上に取り組むほか、三浦半島をはじめとする沿線地域の交通課題の解決にも取り組む。
