毎日新聞社 元取締役のセクハラ行為を発表
毎日新聞社は取締役だった男性がおよそ10年前、会社で働いていた女性にキスをするなどセクハラ行為をしていたと3日、発表しました。
毎日新聞社によりますと、およそ10年前、当時の男性取締役が会社で働いていた女性に懇親会が終了したあとのタクシーの車内でキスなどをしたということです。
当時、女性が上司に被害の相談をしたものの、人事部門などに共有されず、会社として組織的な対応ができなかったとしています。
女性から申告があり、今回調査した結果、不適切な性的接触があったと判断したとしています。
ハラスメントの防止に向けては役員や社員を対象にした研修や社内調査を定期的に行うなどとしています。
毎日新聞社は「女性に対し、深くおわびします。会社の当時の対応も不適切でした。コンプライアンス意識のさらなる向上に努めてまいります」とコメントしています。
