日本マイクロソフトと警察庁は7日、「官民連携によるサイバー事案対策の推進に関する協定」を締結した。この協定により、マイクロソフトは「サイバー事案の未然防止、被害の拡大防止及び捜査に資する情報の共有」と「次世代向けの教育等のサイバー事案対策に係る啓発活動」で、警察庁と協力する。連携事項は以下の通り。・サイバー事案の未然防止、被害の拡大防止及び捜査に資する情報の共有に関すること・次世代向けの教育等のサイバー事案対策に係る啓発活動に関すること・その他両者が必要と認めた事項に関することマイクロソフトはサイバー脅威への対応において、国内と世界各国の法執行機関との連携を強化しており、2025年には、日本の高齢者を狙ったサポート詐欺に関する情報を分析し、警察庁とインド警察の国際共同捜査を支援。インドを拠点とする詐欺グループの摘発につながった。また、国外では、6月に欧州連合法執行協力庁(ユーロポール)と協力し、独立した2つのサイバー犯罪ツールが利用する共通のサーバー設備を特定し、ツールの無力化で支援した。次世代向けの教育と啓発では、小中高生を対象とした「サイバー防犯ボランティア」などの啓発活動等に対し「Minecraft Education」の教材を提供。サイバー空間におけるセキュリティ知識向上トレーニング教材として実践的な学びを支援する。
