男女間の平等調査 日本 148か国中118位に 女性閣僚減少など
スイスの国際組織がまとめた世界各国の男女間の平等に関する調査で、日本は、女性の閣僚が減少したことなどから148か国の中で118位となりました。
政財界のリーダーが集まるダボス会議を主催するスイスの国際組織、世界経済フォーラムは、「経済」、「教育」、「医療へのアクセス」、それに「政治参加」の4つの分野で、各国の男女間の格差を調べて毎年、発表しています。
ことしの報告書は12日に発表され、対象となった148か国のうち、日本は去年と同じ118位となりました。
日本は、「教育」と「医療へのアクセス」の分野では男女間の平等をほぼ達成している水準で、「経済」の分野もやや改善されたものの、「政治参加」の分野で女性の閣僚が減少したことなどから評価が低かったとしています。
一方、男女間の平等が最も進んでいるのは16年連続でアイスランドで、2位がフィンランド、3位がノルウェーと北欧の国々が引き続き上位を占めたほか、4位はイギリス、5位はニュージーランドとなりました。
報告書では、現在のペースでは世界全体で男女格差を解消するには123年かかるとして、男女平等の実現に向けた取り組みの強化を呼びかけています。
