国立の美術館や博物館の入館料 「二重価格」導入へ 文化庁

訪日外国人が増える中、文化庁は、国立の美術館や博物館の入館料について、外国人が割高になる「二重価格」を5年後の2031年までに導入する方針を決めました。

文化庁によりますと、所管する国立の美術館や博物館は全国に12施設あり、現在、入館料は、国籍にかかわらず同じ価格が設定されています。

この入館料について文化庁は、「展示や音声ガイドなど外国人向けサービスに対する相応の負担を求める」として、外国人が割高になる「二重価格」を、5年後の2031年3月までに導入する方針を決めました。

文化庁が所管する施設で「二重価格」の導入方針が示されるのは初めてで、今後、それぞれの施設が開始時期や具体的な価格を検討するとしています。

「二重価格」をめぐっては、フランスのルーブル美術館が導入するなど、海外の事例を踏まえて日本でも検討が本格化する一方、導入による来館者数の減少や、訪日外国人かどうかの確認方法など課題も残されています。

文化庁は「展示の質の維持や向上に二重価格の導入は必要で、今後、影響や課題への対応を検討していきたい」としています。
