自転車事故に注意呼びかけ 乗る前の確認ポイントは NITE
自転車の交通違反を取り締まるいわゆる「青切符」制度が始まり自転車の安全への関心が高まっているとして、NITE＝製品評価技術基盤機構は、事故の再現映像などを公開し、安全を確かめて自転車に乗るよう注意を呼びかけています。
NITEによりますと、自転車による事故は、2021年から去年までの5年間に299件報告されていて、なかでも10代の事故が最も多いということで、事故の再現映像などを公開しました。
このうち、前輪に物が巻き込まれたり、チェーンが外れたり壊れたりして転倒する事故が多いということです。
また、車輪を簡単に着脱できるスポーツタイプの自転車で、固定が不十分なため車輪が外れて転倒するケースもあるということです。
