千葉 我孫子 子ども医療費助成 県外窓口でも 全国初の制度導入
千葉県我孫子市は隣接する茨城県取手市の医療機関と協定を結び、県外の窓口でも子どもの医療費の助成を受けられる制度を全国で初めて導入することになりました。
我孫子市役所で行われた締結式では、星野順一郎市長と取手市にある「JAとりで総合医療センター」の冨滿弘之院長が、協定書を交わしました。
我孫子市内では小児科が不足し、子どもの入院を受け入れている病院もないため、隣の取手市にある医療機関を受診するケースも多いということです。
子どもの医療費は、医療機関の窓口で受給券を示すことで通院1回当たりの自己負担額が我孫子市では300円などとなるよう助成されますが、県外で受診した場合は、いったん全額を立て替えて後日還付を受ける必要があります。
こうした状況を受けて我孫子市は、JAとりで総合医療センターとの間で医療費などのデータをやりとりするシステムを構築し、ことし7月から、窓口で受給券を提示すれば助成が受けられる制度を導入することにしています。
都道府県の枠を越えて、窓口で助成が受けられるようになるのは、全国で初めてということです。
市は今後、県外のほかの医療機関での導入も検討するとしていて、星野市長は、「経済的に困窮する家庭からの切実な声があり実現した。市民が受診しやすくなる医療施策を進めていきたい」と述べました。
