マネーフォワードのSaaSにデジタルバンク機能追加へ 三井住友FGと新会社
マネーフォワードと三井住友フィナンシャルグループ、三井住友銀行は、BaaS(Banking as a Service)/デジタルバンク提供に向けた準備会社の設立について基本合意書を締結した。今後、マネーフォワードが提供するSaaSに銀行機能をシームレスに統合し、バックオフィス業務の改善や効率化を目指す。
準備会社は、マネーフォワードと三井住友フィナンシャルグループのそれぞれが50%を出資し、双方の持分法適用会社とする予定。会社の名称や設立時期等は、今後検討していく。
新会社では、新たなデジタルバンクサービスの開発を目指すとともに、API群を使った事業会社や金融機関向けのBaaSの提供を検討していく。デジタルバンクの概要やサービス内容、スケジュール等の詳細は、準備会社で検討を進めたうえで順次発表予定。
マネーフォワードでは、「マネーフォワード クラウド」をはじめとするバックオフィス向けSaaSを展開しており、これらのサービスに銀行機能を統合していく。また、三井住友フィナンシャルグループをはじめとする金融機関では、日本の99%を占める中小企業に対して十分な金融サービスを届けられていなという課題があるという。こうした企業のDX支援も、今回の取り組みの一つの目的となる。
なお三井住友フィナンシャルグループは15日に、三井住友カードと協力し、中小企業向けの新金融サービス「Trunk」を発表。5月からスタートするTrunkでは、中小企業を中心に、法人口座とビジネスカード、ファイナンス、経理DX、決済プラットフォーム(stera)を一体提供する。その一環としてビジネスSaaSとの連携も視野に入れている。
また、個人向け事業ではマネーフォワードと三井住友カードが資本業務提携しており、家計簿・資産管理アプリ「マネーフォワード ME」などの個人向けサービスと、SMBCグループの総合金融サービス「Olive」を連携したサービスの実現に向けた合弁会社を設立している。
