レクサスミニバンの地道な改良に迫る。

7月17日、レクサスは、新しい「LM」を発表した。
レクサスLMは、レクサスのラグジュアリーミニバンだ。日本市場には、ハイブリッドのパワートレインを搭載する「LM500h」を投入する。
今回の一部改良によって静粛性が高まった。リヤホイールハウス、バックドアまわりに制振材と吸音材を追加・拡大し、リヤタイヤからのロードノイズ、バックドアからの振動音を軽減。インテリアでは、各種室内照明の照度上限を引き上げた。
4座仕様車の「EXECUTIVE」は、リヤオーバーヘッドコンソールに配置したスイッチを、リヤセンターコンソールへ移設。着座したままスムーズに、操作できるようになった。
スイッチの移動に伴いリヤオーバーヘッドコンソールにはダウンラインを追加。夜間や暗所では、足元を見やすくする。
さらに、リヤセンターコンソールにはスマートフォンや小物を置けるトレイを設置した。
新しいLM500hの価格は、6座仕様の「“version L”」の価格が¥15,000,000。EXECUTIVEが、¥20,100,000。
