Uber Eats、東北と中部の12都市で新たに対応 花巻市・上越市など
Uber Eatsは、7月30日から東北地方の岩手県、宮城県、山形県、福島県、中部地方の新潟県の計12都市で新たにデリバリーサービスを開始する。また、宮城県の仙台市(青葉区)ではサービスを大幅に拡大する。

新たにUber Eatsが利用できる都市は以下の通り。
・岩手県：花巻市、北上市、一関市、奥州市
・宮城県：登米市、大崎市
・山形県：米沢市
・福島県：須賀川市
・新潟県：三条市、燕市、柏崎市、上越市
Uber Eatsはこれまで都市部を中心にエリア展開をしてきたが、地方都市でも多くの人に使ってもらいたいという考えから、2025年中に100都市以上で新たにサービスを展開することを発表している。
3月に10県22市、4月に近畿4府県13都市、5月に6県12市、6月に6道県14市でエリアを拡大し、今回の発表もその一環となる。
