自民議員連盟発足 総裁選へ高市首相の党内基盤強化の見方も
高市政権の重要政策の推進を目的とした自民党の議員連盟が発足しました。党内では来年の総裁選挙もにらんで高市総理大臣の党内基盤の強化につなげる狙いがあるのではないかという見方も出ていて、今後、党内でどのような影響を与えるのか注目されます。
21日発足した自民党の議員連盟「国力研究会」は、政府と自民党が一体で高市政権が掲げる重要政策を推進することを目的としていて、初会合までに党所属議員の8割を超える347人が入会しました。
会長に就任した加藤前財務大臣は「高市総理大臣と政権を支え、一致団結して目の前にある課題に解を出し、国民の信頼に応えていく」と述べました。
最高顧問に麻生副総裁、幹事長に萩生田幹事長代行、事務総長に木原官房長官が就任したほか、発起人には麻生氏らに加え、去年の自民党総裁選挙で高市総理大臣と争った小泉防衛大臣や小林政務調査会長、茂木外務大臣らが名を連ねました。
議員連盟は政局ではなく、あくまで政策推進を目指すとしていますが、党内では、新たな議員グループの発足が相次ぐ中、「来年秋にも行われる総裁選挙もにらんで高市総理大臣の党内基盤を強化する狙いがあるのではないか」という見方も出ています。
一方、「党内で自由な議論がしにくくなる」という声や「議員連盟の規模が大きすぎて入会する意味が見えづらい」という指摘もあり、今後、党内でどのような影響を与えるのか注目されます。
