ローソン、フードロス削減アプリで食品半額 「Too Good To Go」と「TABETE」導入
ローソンは、フードロス削減アプリ「Too Good To Go」と、フードシェアリングサービス「TABETE(タベテ)」の導入を5月11日から「ローソン TOC大崎店」(東京都品川区)、「ナチュラルローソン 六本木ヒルズ店」(東京都港区)の2店舗で開始する。いずれもローソンでは初の取り組みとなる。
いずれのサービスでも、消費期限が近いおにぎり・ベーカリー・デザートなどのカテゴリの商品を販売。ローソンでは、2024年にAI発注システム「AI.CO」を全店舗に導入し、天気や在庫状況、販売実績など様々なデータに基づいて販売予測をな行い、加盟店の利益が最大となるように各商品の発注数や値引きの推奨を行なっている。今回の取り組みでは、AI.COが値引き推奨した消費期限が近い商品をそれぞれのサービスで販売する
「Too Good To Go」では、値引き対象となった商品を複数組み合わせた「ベーカリーバッグ」や「デザートバッグ」として販売。1袋あたり最低でも同一カテゴリの商品が2個以上入っており、定価の半額以下で購入できる。利用者はToo Good To Goのアプリ上で注文・決済し、店舗で受取る。
「TABETE」では、値引き対象となった商品を店舗従業員が「TABETE」のアプリに単品で登録し、定価の半額で販売。ユーザーはアプリ上で注文・決済して店舗で受け取る。
対象商品のカテゴリは、おにぎり、お寿司、お弁当、調理麺、調理パン、サラダ、お惣菜、ベーカリー、デザート、まちかど厨房、ファストフードが対象(ナチュラルローソンでは、店内で焼いたパン「インストアベーカリー」も対象)。「まちかど厨房」、ファストフードなどの店内調理品は除く。
