アゴダ、不正業者との取引停止 予約トラブル多発問題で
オンライン宿泊予約サイトの「アゴダ」は、ホテルや業界パートナーと連携し、予約からチェックインまでのサポート体制を強化する。
アゴダでは最近、ホテル等の予約時に予約が取れていない、ダブルブッキングしているなどのトラブルが相次いで報告され問題化。3月には観光庁が改善要請を出していたことも明らかになっている。
今回の取組みは、こうした状況に対応するためのもの。アゴダは6月26日付で、これまで問題を起こしていた第三者サプライヤー経由の在庫の取り扱いをプラットフォーム上で停止。今後数カ月にわたり、すべてのサプライヤーがアゴダの要求基準を満たすよう、施策を展開するという。
具体的には、AIを活用した事前監視システムの導入による予約機能の向上や、不正確なコンテンツを未然に自動削除するなど、第三者サプライヤーへの管理体制を強化していく。
今後数カ月以内には、24時間365日サポートのローカライズも推進。チェックイン時に発生するトラブルにも迅速に対応できるようにするほか、補償オプションも用意する。
