エースは、日本製トラベルバッグブランド「PROTECA（プロテカ）」より、国産アルミスーツケース「STARIA CXR Aluminum（スタリア CXR アルミナム）」 を発売。直営店、オンラインストアならびに、全国の主要百貨店・専門店にて、9月から発売開始を予定している。
「STARIA CXR Aluminum（スタリア CXR アルミナム）」は、高い剛性、金属ならではの質感がラグジュアリーな印象を与える、堅牢な国産アルミスーツケース。水平垂直に走るスタイリッシュなリブデザインは、剛性を高めるとともに、表面を傷つきにくくする効果がある。
トランク型（01535, 01575）は、かさばる荷物を収納できる厚マチの縦長フォルムで、車のトランクに積みやすいサイジングと大容量を両立。車に積みやすいようボディ中央にピックアップハンドルを設けた。幅が狭いので狭い場所や人混みで扱いやすく、スムーズな移動が可能となっている。
また体感音量を大幅に軽減した「サイレントキャスター ®」と、摩擦抵抗を極限まで抑えた高耐久性クロム鋼ベアリングを採用した「ベアロンホイール ®」が、 静かで滑らかな走行を可能とする。
