トランプ大統領 中国と“けさ会談した” 貿易摩擦の緩和へ注目
米中の貿易摩擦の緩和に向けた協議に注目が集まる中、アメリカのトランプ大統領は24日、「けさ、会談した」と述べ、中国側との協議が行われたと説明しました。中国側はこれまで、協議は行われていないとしていて、双方の言い分が食い違っていました。
トランプ大統領は24日、米中の貿易摩擦をめぐり、記者団から「中国とは協議をしているのか」と問われたのに対し、「“彼ら”はけさ、会談した」と述べ、両国の間で協議が行われたと説明しました。
ただ、詳細については、「“彼ら”が誰であるかは重要ではない。いずれ明らかにするかもしれない」と述べるにとどめました。
貿易に関する米中間の協議をめぐっては、トランプ大統領が23日、毎日、行われていると述べたのに対し、中国外務省の報道官は24日の記者会見でも協議は行われていないと否定しており、双方の言い分が食い違っていました。
一方、ベッセント財務長官は、韓国との貿易協議について、「きょう、非常に有意義な会談ができた。私が考えていたよりも早く進展している可能性があり、来週にも専門的な協議をすることになるだろう」と述べ、大枠での合意が近いという認識を示しました。
日本も来週、アメリカ側と協議を行う見通しで、具体的に議論を進めていく分野が絞り込めるかが焦点となっています。
