超党派議連が提言 “低所得世帯の熱中症対策支援を”
子どもの貧困対策を推進する超党派の議員連盟は三原こども政策担当大臣と面会し各地で危険な暑さが続く中、低所得世帯がエアコンを適切に使用できるよう国が光熱費の支援をすることなどを要望しました。
子どもの貧困対策を推進する超党派の議員連盟の会長を務める自民党の田村元厚生労働大臣らは、こども家庭庁で三原こども政策担当大臣と面会し、熱中症対策を進めることなどを求める提言を手渡しました。
この中では、低所得世帯の中には電気代を節約するためエアコンをつけないケースもあり子どもの安全が脅かされかねないとしています。
また、物価高騰で十分に食事がとれず栄養不足になる子どももいると指摘しています。
そして、こうした家庭に対して現金給付や、光熱費・水道料金の支援、それに食料の提供などを行うよう要望しています。
このあと田村氏は記者団に対し「物価高騰で食料品の価格が上がり、食べ盛りの子どもがいる家庭は大変な状況になっているうえに非常に暑く、対策が必要だ。三原大臣からは『石破総理大臣と話をしてしっかり検討したい』という話があった」と述べました。
