ビームス プラスとスタジオ ニコルソンが初コラボレーション！
ビームス プラスが、イギリスのブランド「スタジオ ニコルソン」と初となるコラボレーションを発表。9月19日（金）より、ビームス プラス 丸の内、ビームス公式オンラインショップ、そしてスタジオ ニコルソン日本店舗で展開される。

今回のコラボレーションは、スタジオ ニコルソンのウェイクマンと、ビームス プラスを率いる溝端秀基の共通項である“映画の登場人物”への偏愛からスタート。1960〜70年代のアメリカ映画をヒントに、『刑事コロンボ』の主人公コロンボ、『ティファニーで朝食を』でオードリー・ヘプバーンと共演したジョージ・ペパード、ダイアン・キートン演じる『アニー・ホール』のスタイルといったキャラクター像が、コレクションのインスピレーション源となった。両者は「銀幕からの教え」をテーマに、洋服の向こうにあるシーンや主人公像を投影している。
本コレクションは「Made in Japan」にこだわり、全21アイテムがラインナップ。スタジオ ニコルソンのシグネチャーシルエットや上質なテキスタイルに、ビームス プラスのヘリテージと日本のクラフトマンシップが重なり、洗練されたアイテムが展開される。

撥水ギャバジンツイルを使用したトレンチコート「PETER」は、スタジオ ニコルソンを象徴するボリューム感のあるシルエットが際立つ。裏地には、ビームス プラスのアイビー要素を反映したチェック柄を採用し、両者の美学を象徴する一着に仕上がった。

スポーツブレザー「PAUL」とダブルプリーツパンツ「ALVY」のセットアップは、超高密度のトロピカルウールとコーデュロイの2種類で展開。パンツは意図的にゆとりを持たせ、ハリのあるコットンツイル素材も採用されるなど、多様なスタイリングを可能にする。
