楽天ペイで「熱中症のほけん」 1日100円から
楽天ペイメントと楽天少額短期保険は17日、キャッシュレス決済アプリ「楽天ペイ」において、熱中症に備える「熱中症のほけん」の提供を開始した。保険料は1日あたり100円からで、楽天ペイアプリ内から申し込みが可能。

「熱中症のほけん」は、医師の判断により国内の医療機関で点滴治療を受けた場合や、2日(1泊2日)以上の入院を開始した場合に保険金が支払われる。契約は日単位(1日〜7日)または月単位(1カ月〜7カ月)で選択でき、月額契約の場合でも200円から加入可能。午前9時までに申し込めば、当日午前10時から補償が開始される。
申し込みは「楽天ペイ」アプリ内に表示される「熱中症のほけん」のアイコンから遷移し、楽天少短のページで手続きを行なう。保険料の支払いには楽天ポイントの使用が可能で、最大2.5%分の楽天ポイントが還元される。契約後の確認や保険金の請求手続きもマイページ上で完結する。
保険の申し込みはアプリ経由に限られ、楽天ペイ(オンライン決済)での利用が対象。保険金の支払いは月単位契約で2回まで、日単位契約で1回までとなる。本保険の販売期間は10月31日まで。
決済アプリから加入できる熱中症に備える保険は、各社が強化しており、PayPayは「熱中症お見舞い金」、d払いは「ドコモの熱中症お見舞金保険」を展開している。
