【写真を見る】新型Gクラスカブリオレの全貌など（19点）
メルセデス・ベンツは、現行「Gクラス」をベースとしたカブリオレモデルについて言及した。
新しいGクラスのカブリオレモデルは、2017年登場の「G650ランドレー」のような限定モデルではなく、カタログモデルになるようだ。
公開されたティザー画像からは、5ドアモデルがベースであることがわかる。現行モデルにはショートバージョン（3ドア）の設定がないため、かつてのカブリオレと異なるカタチでオープン化となるようだ。
搭載するパワートレインはガソリンおよびディーゼルの内燃機関に加え、ピュアEV（自動車）バージョンも用意されるかもしれない。
新しいGクラスのカブリオレモデルは、世界中のほぼすべての地域で販売予定というから、日本にも導入される可能性大だ。
Gクラスの新しいカブリオレモデルは、ドイツのミュンヘンで来週から開催されるIAAモビリティ（9月8日～14日）で披露される可能性が高い。
