新しいスバル ソルテラ登場！トヨタbZ4xと、より差別化へ

4月16日、スバルの北米法人は、新しい「ソルテラ」を発表した。
ソルテラはブランド初の市販ピュアEV（電気自動車）だ。トヨタ「bZ4x」の姉妹車でもある。
新しいソルテラのエクステリアは、特にフロントまわりがシャープとなった。薄型のヘッドライプや新デザインのフロントバンパーなどを採用。同時に発表された新型「アウトバック」を彷彿とさせるデザインだ。
ボディサイドでは、ホイールハウスまわりがボディ同色となった。リヤまわりは、新デザインのバッヂやリヤゲートガーニッシュなどを装備する。足まわりは18インチないしは20インチのアルミホイールを用意した。
インテリアは、新しい14インチのスバルマルチメディアタッチスクリーンを設置。15Wのワイヤレススマートフォン充電器も標準装備された。
新しいソルテラは、74.7kWhのリチウムイオン電池を搭載。満充電時の航続可能距離は約450kmで、従来モデルと比較して25%以上伸びた。モーターは前後2基搭載し、最高出力は標準モデルが233ps、「XT」グレードが338psに強化された。XTは0〜60マイル（約96km/h）までに要する時間は、5秒以下に短縮されるという。
ほかに、サスペンションと電動パワーステアリングも改良され、ハンドリングと応答性が向上した。
新しいソルテラは、2025年後半に発売開始予定。日本導入時期は未定だ。
