Eight、物理カードのデジタル名刺「My Eight Card」
Sansanは名刺アプリ「Eight」において、カード型のデジタル名刺「My Eight Card」の提供を決定した。NFCチップを内蔵したデジタル名刺で、スマートフォンをかざしてもらうだけでデジタル名刺を送信できる。5月にビジネスイベント「Climbers 2024」来場者へ先行配布を行ない、今後一般発売を予定している。

My Eight Cardでは、Eightの名刺情報をカードに登録し、名刺交換相手にスマートフォンをかざしてもらうだけで名刺を渡せる。名刺交換相手がEightユーザーの場合はEight上に名刺情報が保存され、非ユーザーの場合はスマートフォンの連絡先に保存できる。Eight上でプロフィール情報を更新すると、My Eight Card内の情報も自動で更新される。
Eightは2023年9月より、Eightユーザー同士がスマートフォンをかざすだけでデジタル名刺の交換ができる「タッチ名刺交換」機能を提供している。My Eight Cardにより、デジタル名刺交換の体験を、Eightユーザー以外にも広げることを目指す。
Sansanの調査によれば、約50%のビジネスパーソンが「商談時に名刺を切らした」「交換した名刺を紛失した」などの紙の名刺に関するトラブルを経験している。My Eight Cardは、紙の名刺切れによる機会損失防止に繋がり、特に多数の名刺交換機会があるオフラインイベントとの親和性が高いとしている。
一般発売に先駆けて、同社が主催する5月15日・16日のビジネスイベント「Climbers 2024」をはじめとした「Climbers Series」の来場者へ先行配布を行なう。
