Bluesky、青い認証バッジを導入
分散型SNSのBlueskyは、著名なアカウントが本物であることを示す「青いチェックマーク」を導入する。当初はBluesky側が選び認証したアカウントのみに付与されるが、将来的には認証の申請フォームも用意する。

Blueskyでは、ユーザー側ができる自主的な認証の仕組みとして、個人や組織が管理するドメイン名をアカウント名にできる、ドメイン名との連携システムを2023年に導入している。現在までに27万以上のアカウントが利用しており、今後も重要な機能として運用する方針。組織の公式アカウントや個人には利用を「強く推奨する」としている。
一方、視覚的により分かりやすい表示への要望もあり、パッと見ですぐに分かる「青いチェックマーク」のバッジを新たに導入することになった。
当初はBluesky側が「著名で本物のアカウントを積極的に認証」し、認証済みアカウントの名前の横には、青い丸のチェックマークが表示されるようになる。
■ 認証バッジを発行できる組織を認定
また、新たな試みとして、認証バッジを発行できる組織を「信頼できる認証者」(Trusted Verifier)として認定する。「信頼できる認証者」のアカウントには青い波形のチェックマークが表示される。
「信頼できる認証者」となったアカウントからは、関係するアカウントに対し、認証バッジを発行できる。この際、Bluesky側でもチェックが行なわれ信憑性を確保する。認証バッジの詳細では、どの組織によって認証されたかを確認できる。
例えば「ニューヨーク・タイムズ」のアカウントはBlueskyにより「信頼できる認証者」に認定されており、関係するジャーナリストのアカウントに認証バッジを発行できる。
このほか、これら一連のチェックマークの表示をオフにする設定も用意されている。
