共栄火災海上保険 元代理店店主が客から7700万円余詐取と発表
損害保険会社の「共栄火災海上保険」は北海道函館市の元販売代理店の店主が保険証券を偽造して顧客から金銭をだましとっていたことを明らかにしました。被害はあわせて7700万円を超えるとしていて保険会社では賠償を検討しています。
共栄火災海上保険の発表によりますと、去年まで保険の販売を委託していた函館市の元代理店「函館松寿保険」の69歳の店主は傷害保険の契約を希望する客に対し、偽の保険証券や領収書を渡す手口で金銭をだまし取っていたということです。
またこの店主は保険の契約者から保険料として預かった現金およそ2650万円を一時的にほかの目的に流用していたということです。
顧客からの問い合わせをきっかけに不正がわかったということで、保険会社は警察に相談するとともに被害者への賠償を検討しています。
