新型アウディA6セダンが登場
オーソドックスなアウディのセダンは、これが最後かもしれない。

4月15日、アウディは、新型「A6セダン」を発表した。
A6セダンは、すでに登場済みのアヴァント（ステーションワゴン）とスペックは大きく変わらない。
搭載するパワートレインは内燃機関で、ガソリンターボエンジンないしは、マイルドハイブリッドを組み合わせたディーゼルターボエンジンの2種類。組み合わされるトランスミッションはオートマチックのみだ。
エクステリアは、「e-tron GT」を彷彿とさせる、シャープでスポーティなデザインだ。ドアハンドルは埋込式とするなど、空力性能も意識する。
インテリアのうちインパネまわりは、日本に上陸した新型「A5」同様に3つの液晶ディスプレイで構成。助手席用も備わる。ガラスルーフは、透過調整機能付きで、スイッチ操作で明暗を切り替えられるのが特徴だ。荷室容量は、492リッター（ディーゼルは452リッター）を確保した。
新型A6セダンの日本導入時期は未定。
