OpenAIは24日、新しくなったChatGPTの音声機能「ChatGPT Voice」がデスクトップアプリで利用可能になったと発表した。macOSおよびWindows向けに、Plus、Pro、Business、Edu、Enterpriseプランで順次展開する。
新たなChatGPT Voiceは、音声モデル「GPT-Live」を搭載し、“本物の会話”に近いやり取りができるという音声機能。音声だけでPCを操作したり、「ChatGPT Work」や「Codex」で実行中の複数のエージェントに指示したりできる。アプリ内で会話しながら、作業の調整も同時に行なえるという。
また、iOSアプリからリモートアクセスを利用し、Codex上の作業をChatGPT Voiceで操作することもできる。Android対応は近日中に提供予定としている。
