Uber Taxi、事前予約機能を札幌・横浜・名古屋・京都などに拡大
Uber Japanは、「Uber Taxi」の事前予約機能の対象エリアを拡大した。札幌、横浜、名古屋、京都、神戸、広島、福岡、沖縄本島エリアの8つの地域で新たに利用が可能になる。
事前予約機能は、4月に東京・大阪エリアで提供を開始しており、好評なことからエリアを拡大する。移動時間に制約のあるシーンと相性が良く、国内では空港や駅への移動手段としての利用が多い。また、訪日外国人は、駅や空港へのアクセスに加え、ホテルから観光地への移動などにも利用しているという。
予約期間は乗車予定日の90日前から15分前まで。予約手数料は700円。乗車料金は通常のUber Taxiと同様だが、別途迎車料金等が発生する。
