4日の東京外国為替市場は、日銀の利上げのペースが加速するのではないかといった見方などを背景に円買いドル売りの動きが一段と進み、円相場は一時1ドル＝155円台前半まで値上がりしました。

アメリカのベッセント財務長官が日本側に対して利上げに向けた道筋を示すよう求めるなか、金融市場では日銀が利上げのペースを速めるのではないかといった見方が強まっています。

一方で、アメリカのFRB＝連邦準備制度理事会の高官の発言からFRBが早期の利上げに踏み切るとの見方が後退して、4日の東京市場でも円買いドル売りの動きが加速しています。

円相場は一時、3日の夕方からさらに1円以上値上がりして1ドル＝155円20銭台まで値上がりしました。

市場関係者は「日本時間の4日夜にはアメリカの金融政策の方向性を占ううえで重要な雇用統計の発表も控えている。一部では値下がりしたドルを買い戻す動きも出ていて、神経質な取り引きが続きそうだ」と話していました。
