佐賀県警本部長 DNA鑑定の不正行為受け 県議会で謝罪
佐賀県警察本部の科学捜査研究所の元職員が、DNA鑑定でうその報告をするなどしていた不正行為について県警の福田英之本部長は17日、県議会で「深くおわび申し上げる」と謝罪したうえで、再発防止に努める考えを示しました。
佐賀県警察本部は、科学捜査研究所の40代の男性の元職員が去年までの7年間にDNA鑑定を行ったように装い、うその報告をするなどあわせて130件の不正行為が確認されたとして、今月8日、懲戒免職にするとともに証拠隠滅などの疑いで書類送検しました。
これを受けて県警の福田英之本部長が17日の県議会に出席し、「県民の信頼、警察の活動に対する信頼を大きく損なう事案であり、重く受け止めるとともに、深くおわび申し上げる」と謝罪しました。
そのうえで今後、DNA鑑定のチェック体制を見直すとともに、公文書の管理を徹底するなど再発防止に努める考えを示しました。
また、県議会議員から「詳しく調査する第三者委員会を設置する考えはないのか」と問われると、福田本部長は「県公安委員会がこれまでの調査を確認しており、設置の必要があるとは考えておりません」などと述べました。
このほか、これまでの調査を踏まえて不正行為による裁判への影響はなかったという認識を改めて示しました。
