16日午前、東京 府中市の多摩川で、中学3年の男子生徒が友人とともに川で遊んでいて溺れ、意識不明の重体になっています。
午前11時ごろ、府中市と多摩市の間を流れる多摩川で、「中学生が流されている」と消防を通じて警視庁に通報がありました。
警視庁によりますと、消防が救助活動にあたり、およそ40分後に、通報があった場所にほど近い水深2メートルの川底で中学3年の男子生徒が沈んでいるのが見つかり、助け出されたということです。
当時、同じ中学校の友人5人と岸から川に飛び込んで遊んでいて、溺れたということです。
