ChatGPT for Excel開始　金融データ連携も強化

OpenAIは5日(米国時間)、Excel向けの「ChatGPT for Excel」のベータ版を発表した。Excelのワークブック内で直接ChatGPTを利用できるExcelアドインとして提供され、AIモデルは「GPT-5.4」を搭載する。 米国、カナダ、オーストラリアのChatGPT Business、Enterprise、Edu、Teachers、Pro、Plusユーザー向けに提供を開始。Googleスプレッドシート向けのChatGPTも近日中に公開する。 ChatGPT for Excelでは、既存の数式や構造を利用してスプレッドシートモデルの構築、更新、分析を実行できる。セルや数式にもとづく出力の生成にも対応する。利用時はExcelワークブック内で必要な内容を記述することで、ChatGPTがExcelモデルを作成または更新する。 また、ワークブック間の推論、シートや数式の関連の理解、エラーの追跡や修正、出力変化の理由の説明なども行なえるほか、変更を加える前にはユーザーの許可を求める仕組みも備える。 ChatGPTでは、金融データ連携が強化され、モデルコンテキストプロトコル(MCP)による独自データ統合にも対応。市場・企業・社内データをChatGPTの単一ワークフローで扱えるようになる。連携する金融データは、Moody's、Dow Jones Factiva、MSCI、Third Bridge、MT Newswireなど。
