東京メトロ、クレカのタッチ決済乗車 24時間券で開始
東京メトロは、クレジットカードのタッチ決済とQRコードを活用した乗車サービスを3月22日に開始する。対象は東京メトロ24時間券で、料金は大人700円。

同社販売サイト上で東京メトロ24時間券を購入し、購入時に使用したタッチ決済対応のカード(クレジット・デビット・プリペイド)、または購入後に発行されたQRコードで東京メトロ全線に乗車できる。
利用時は、自動改札機のリーダーにかざして通過する。リーダーを設置していない駅においては、駅係員が乗車券画面を確認のうえ案内する。有効期間は、購入日から90日間の任意の日。有効時間は、使用開始(初回入場時)から24時間。
タッチ決済に対応していないクレジットカードで購入した場合は、QRコードに切り替えての利用となる。料金は大人700円、小児350円。小児はQRコードのみ販売。
東京メトロ線以外に乗り越す場合は、他社局線との接続駅で一度出場したうえ、改めて他社局の乗車券を利用する。他社局線から東京メトロ線に乗り越す場合も、東京メトロ線との接続駅で一度出場したうえ、24時間券で東京メトロ線を利用する。
同社では今後、交通系ICカードを主軸としつつ、デジタル技術などを活用した新たな乗車サービスの検討を進めていくとする。なお、クレジットカードのタッチ決済による後払い乗車サービスの実施については、改札外乗換えなど同社特有の運賃計算上の課題への対応の検討を現在進めている。
