子どもと出かけるときは、楽に歩けるスニーカーを選ぶことが多い筆者。ただ、気がつくと靴ひもがほどけてだらんと垂れさがっていることがあるんです。雨の日だと傘を差したまま結び直すのが大変で、プチストレスになっていました。そんなとき、警視庁の災害対策課が、公式サイトで“靴ひものほどけにくい結び方”を紹介しているのを知ったんです。

さっそく実践してみたので、そのやり方をご紹介します。まずはいつも通り蝶結びにし、その左右の輪っかを両手で持ってください。

後はその輪っか同士をほどけないようにきつく結ぶだけ！

難しい工程は何もなく、あっという間にできる裏技なんです。

いつもよりも結び目が大きくなりますが、近くで見なければ気になるほどではありませんでした。

ひもの先端を思いっきり引っ張ってみても、全然ほどけないのがすごい！これはかなり頼りになりそうです。その分、結んだ後でひもの長さを整えることはできなくなります。靴ひもの長さによってバランスが変わるので、何度か試してお気に入りの長さを見つけてくださいね。

筆者だけでなく、小学生の娘にも協力してもらって、ほどけにくさを検証。どちらもほどけにくい結び方をしたスニーカーを1週間履き続けてみました。特に窮屈さなどは感じず、娘も「いつも通り動きやすい」とのこと。

親子で試してみた結果、確かにほどけにくい！娘は学校から帰ってくるたびに靴が汚れていて、かなり動き回っていたようですが、靴ひもはゆるむ気配もありません。子どもでも簡単にできる方法だし、ちゃんと効果が感じられたので、これからも続けていきたいです！

濡れたスニーカーを早く乾かしたいときは、洗濯機の脱水機能を使って一気に水分を飛ばすのがおすすめ。 1足ずつタオルで包んで洗濯ネットに入れ、3分ほど脱水します。ただし、機種によっては靴の脱水がNGのケースもあるので、事前に取扱説明書を確認し、異常を感じた際はすぐに中止してください。脱水した後で斜めに立てかけておけば、いつもよりもずっと早く乾きますよ。 2つのライフハックを活用して、スニーカーでのお出かけを楽しんでくださいね！
