大阪・関西万博“空飛ぶクルマ” デモ飛行中に機体の一部破損

大阪・関西万博で26日、「空飛ぶクルマ」のデモ飛行中に機体の一部が破損するトラブルがありました。機体は無事着陸し、けが人はいませんでしたが、安全性を確認するため27日のデモ飛行は中止となりました。

ドローンなどの技術を応用し、人や物を乗せる「空飛ぶクルマ」は、万博の期間中、3つの陣営が来場者を乗せずに飛ぶデモ飛行を行う予定で、現在は丸紅の陣営が実施しています。

丸紅によりますと、26日午後3時ごろ、操縦士1人が乗り込んで会場の離着陸場でデモ飛行を行っていたところ、部品の一部が機体から落下するトラブルがあったということです。

飛行していた場所は観客が入ることができないエリアで、その後、無事着陸し、操縦士を含めてけが人はいませんでした。

機体を詳しく調べたところ、フレームの一部や18あるプロペラのモーターのうち、1つが破損していたことがわかったということです。

このため丸紅は、27日のデモ飛行を中止することを決め、原因を調査して安全性が確認できしだい、再開することにしています。
