「国民をバカにしている」ホワイトハウスのSNS、今度は『あつ森』を無断使用 ⇨ 規約違反との指摘も「任天堂は毅然とした対応を」
米ホワイトハウスの公式Xアカウントが3月28日（日本時間）、「National Agriculture Week（全国農業週間）」を祝う投稿を行った。しかし、その内容に人気ゲーム『あつまれ どうぶつの森』の著作物を利用した映像や画像が含まれていたことから、SNS上で批判が集まっている。
投稿された画像には、同作のキャラクターたちがドナルド・トランプ大統領そっくりのキャラクターとお茶会を楽しむ様子が描かれている。 また、映像内では「Make Farming Great Again（アメリカの農業を再び偉大なものに）」といった、トランプ氏のスローガンを引用したメッセージが表示された。 任天堂は2020年、同作の政治的な利用を制限するガイドラインを公開しており、「政治的な主張を含む表現」にゲームを利用することを控えるよう求めている。 今回の投稿は、このガイドラインに抵触する可能性がある。
