Perplexity、日々のタスクを支援する音声アシスタント機能
Perplexityは、日々のタスクをサポートするというスマートフォン向けの音声アシスタント機能「Perplexity Assistant」を発表した。Android向けアプリの最新版で利用できる。
Perplexity Assistantでは、スマートフォンの音声入力を使って、生成AIに対するさまざまな質問や指示が可能。画面のテキストと音声で回答される。質問をして回答を得たり、おすすめのレストランを質問して回答された後に予約をしたり、カメラで写している物に対する質問や検索が可能。
また、Webサイトを見ている時に、その概要をまとめたものを誰かにメールで送る、といった操作の指示も行なえる。リマインダーの設定にも対応する。
