中高生サイバーセキュリティ競技会「CyberSakura」第3回、京都府立嵯峨野高等学校 チーム「HEXAGON」優勝
NPO法人エル・コミュニティは3月24日、中高生対象のサイバーセキュリティ教育プログラム「CyberSakura（サイバーサクラ）」の第3回の決勝ラウンド最終結果を発表した。
「CyberSakura」は、AFA（AIR ＆ SPACE FORCES ASSOCIATION：米国空軍協会）が開発し、ノースロップ・グラマン社が主催するサイバーセキュリティ教育プログラム「CyberPatriot」の日本大会で、競技用に配付されるVM内に用意された「フォレンジック問題」「課題OSの脆弱性発見と修正」各課題に取り組む。福井県鯖江市のNPO法人エルコミュニティが主催し、同じく福井県のITベンチャー企業である株式会社ict4eが技術支援を行っている。
全国の中学生、高校生、3年生までの高専生が3～4人でチームを結成し、仮想環境でセキュリティの脆弱性を発見修正を行いスコアを競い合う。なお参加者が未成年のため、成人の指導者が保護者として必ず帯同して競技会が行われる。第3回となる今開催から、1～4人のチームが参加できるエントリー部門も設けられた。
CyberSakuraは競技であると同時に、中高生へのセキュリティ倫理や技術の教育イベントとしての一面も併せ持つ。事前に自習用教材として「サイバー空間における倫理とオンライン上での安全確保」「サイバー倫理」「サイバーセキュリティの仕組み」「コンピューターの基礎と仮想化」「Windowsの基本とマルチタスク」「Windows セキュリティツール と アカウント管理」「Windows ファイルとセキュリティ」「Linux/Ubuntu入門」「Ubuntuのセキュリティ」などの計10種類のPDFが配付される他、セキュリティエンジニアによる講演とCTF大会がオンラインで事前に開催されるなど、初学者が参加しやすい工夫がなされている。
2022年12月10日～11日に予選が開催され、スコア上位のチームが2023年3月25日に鯖江市で開催された決勝ラウンドで覇を競った。競技時間は3時間半。
決勝に進出したチームは下記の通り。

決勝ラウンドでの3時間半の競技の結果、1位から3位は下記のチームとなった。
第1位：白雉 / 武蔵高等学校中学校（東京）
第2位：詫間情報安全管理局 / 香川高等専門学校（香川）
第3位：Shibuya Squad / 渋谷教育学園渋谷高等学校（東京）
競技終了10分前にもスコアを獲得するなど最後まで集中力を保ったチーム白雉が優勝した。
