岐阜 高山 県立高校で80年以上続く伝統行事の「白線流し」
岐阜県高山市の県立高校で、卒業式のあとに、80年以上続く伝統行事の「白線流し」が行われ、卒業生たちが母校や友人たちとの別れを惜しみました。
県立斐太高校の「白線流し」は、卒業生たちが、これからも続いていく友情や、高校3年間の思い出を込めて制帽の白線と、スカセーラー服の白いーフを一本に結び合わせ、学校の前を流れる大八賀川に流す伝統の行事です。
3月1日は卒業式を終えた200人余りが川岸に並び、クラスごとに対岸の教職員に向かって感謝のことばを伝えると、思いがつまった白線をゆっくりと川に流していきました。
白線が流されると、生徒たちは晴れやかな笑顔で川面を流れていく1本の白線を見つめていました。
卒業生の女子生徒は「『白線流し』は伝統で、ずっと憧れていたので行うことができてうれしかったです。卒業の実感もわき、さみしさも感じました」と話していました。
