ナイキ ペガサス42登場、プレートなき推進力──GQ新着スニーカー
ナイキの定番ランニングシューズ「ペガサス」の42代目が発表された。プレートを使わずに推進力を実現した意欲作が登場する。
ナイキは2月25日（水）、定番ランニングシューズの最新作「ペガサス 42」を発表した。発売は4月9日（木）、NIKE.COMおよび一部ナイキ販売店にて展開される。なお2月26日からはじまる東京マラソンEXPO 2026のナイキブースでは発売前の先行試着が可能である。 最大の革新は、フルレングスのカーブ付きエアズームユニットの採用だ。前作ペガサス41では前足部とかかとに独立配置されていたエアユニットを、足裏全体をカバーする1枚の曲線構造へと刷新した。 注目すべきは、この湾曲したエアユニットがカーボンプレートに近い推進感を生むという点である。当然、プレートは一切搭載していない。エア内部にはウェーブ状の構造が設けられ、反発力と弾力を両立。さらにサイズごとにエアの内圧と厚みを最適化しており、小サイズは15psiの薄型、大サイズは20psiの厚型と、体格に応じたチューニングが施されている。 ミッドソールのリアクトXフォームとの相乗効果により、エネルギーリターンは前作比約15％向上した。足型も刷新され、前足部にゆとりを持たせながら、つま先にロッカーカーブを追加。スタックハイトはかかと37mm、前足部27mm、オフセット10mmと前作同等ながら、つま先下のクッションのみ3mm厚くしている。重量はメンズ28cmで片足300g。 ペガサスの哲学は「軽さ・推進力・エネルギーリターン」の三位一体である。安易にプレートに頼らず、エアの可能性を再定義した快作と言えるだろう。 ■NIKE カスタマーサービス TEL：0120-6453-77
