Apple 銀座、9月26日オープン 「アップルのすべてが揃う」
アップルは、9月26日午前10時に「Apple 銀座」をリニューアルオープンする。Appleの米国以外で初のストアとして2003年にオープンしたApple 銀座が22年ぶりに大規模リニューアルして復活。一新された4階建てのデザインとして、Appleの製品、サービス、体験のすべてを提供する。

新たなApple 銀座は、iPhone 17/17 Pro、iPhone Air、Apple Watch Series 11、Apple Watch Ultra 3、AirPods Pro 3などの最新製品のほか、iPhone Airバンパー、MagSafe対応iPhone Airケース、クロスボディストラップなどのアクセサリーを含む、Appleの全ラインアップを用意。また、Apple 銀座のみのスペシャルエディションの「Apple Gift Card」も期間限定で販売する。
店舗は4フロアから構成され、1階はiPhoneと関連アクセサリー、2階はApple WatchとiPad、製品受け取りの「ピックアップ」、3階はMacとApple Vision Pro、4階がジーニアスバー(Genius Bar)となる。
ピックアップでは、Apple Storeオンラインで注文した製品を、都合のよい時間に受け取れる。ジーニアスバーは、対面でのサポートや、Apple純正パーツを使った修理サービスなどを受けられる場所となっている。ストアのスタッフ数は230名以上。
リニューアルオープンを記念して、日本の人気グループ「Number_i」とコラボレーション。シングル「未確認領域」で空間オーディオと空間ビデオを探索する、Today at Appleスポットライトセッションを提供する。
このセッションはApple 銀座限定で公開し、10月11日から日本全国のApple Storeでも体験可能となる。Number_iファンは、Apple Vision Proの1対1のデモを予約し、空間ギャラリーアプリの「未確認領域」のミュージックビデオを体験できるほか、舞台裏なども空間ビデオで確認できる。
23日にはアップルのティム・クックCEOが「Number_i」のメンバーとのセルフィーにより、Apple 銀座の26日オープンについて発表している。

クックCEOは「Apple 銀座は日本初のApple Storeであり、私たちには特別な思い入れがある。20年以上前のApple 銀座のオープンは、私たちが世界中のお客様とつながる方法を進展させた。このリニューアルオープンもまた、日本でのApple Storeの歴史における素晴らしいマイルストーンであり、全国のお客様やコミュニティとの強い絆を象徴している」と述べている。
また、Number_iのX投稿はセンターフレームフロントカメラによるセルフィーの動作とともに、クックCEOとの撮影の“舞台裏”を紹介している。

Apple 銀座のオリジナル壁紙や、Apple Music銀座プレイリスト「銀座で物語を音楽とともに」なども用意している。Apple 銀座の所在地は、東京都中央区銀座3-5-12 サヱグサビル本館。
■ 3方向から光が差し込むApple 銀座 銀座に調和
新しいApple 銀座では、構造を見直しており、3方向から光が差し込むレイアウトとなった。可動ルーバーを備えたダブルスキンガラスファサードは、太陽光にあわせて、一日を通じて明るさと室温を調整し、各フロアに自然光が差し込むようにした。また、1-2階と3-4階には吹き抜けを用意しており、銀座の活気ある通りを見下ろせるバルコニーのような空間としている。
店内には温かみのある木製パネルを配置し、日本のデザインへの敬意を表しているという。アクセシビリティにも配慮し、様々な高さのテーブルや椅子を用意。ジーニアスバーなど、セットアップなどのサービスを提供するための専用スペースなども設けている。
