5月13日、レクサスは、「LBX MORIZO RR」の一部改良モデルを発表した。 LBX MORIZO RRは、トヨタ自動車の会長でありマスタードライバーでもある豊田章男（モリゾウ）が、プライベートで乗るための「相棒」として開発に深く関与したハイパフォーマンス・コンパクトクロスオーバーだ。 LBX MORIZO RRが搭載するエンジンは、GRヤリスやGRカローラ譲りの1.6リッター直列3気筒インタークーラーターボエンジン「G16E-GTS」。最高出力224kW（304ps）、最大トルク400Nmを誇る。トランスミッションには、スポーツ走行に最適化された8速Direct Shift-8ATに加え、操る愉しさを追求した6速iMT（インテリジェントマニュアルトランスミッション）が引き続き設定されている点。

一部改良でボディカラーのラインナップが見直された。硬質なライトグレーにハイライトでメタリックをほのかに含ませた「ニュートリノグレー＆ブラック」を新規設定。標準仕様のインテリアカラーには新たに「オーカー」を追加し、従来のブラックと合わせた全2色展開とする。 “Bespoke Build”では、イエローのアクセントを施した、バンパーモールとシートベルトも選択可能とした。また、フロントピラーガーニッシュおよびサンバイザーの表皮はファブリックに変更された。メーカーオプションには17スピーカーのMark Levinson Premium Surround Sound Systemを新設定。スピーカーの増設でより臨場感あるサウンド環境を実現したほか、ASC（アクティブサウンドコントロール）のさらにリアルな音表現も実現したという。従来のオーディオスピーカーに加えラゲージ左右のスピーカーを用い、より自然で迫力あるサウンドを鳴動し、車両の状態を直感的に把握しやすくするとともに、運転の高揚感を際立たせるという。機能面では、最新のLexus Safety System +の搭載により、予防安全性能が強化。ドライバーモニター機能を追加し、運転者の目線やまぶたの動き、顔向きなどを検知して運転者の注意力低下や眠気を検知して警告を発することで衝突回避や被害軽減を支援する。また、ドライブレコーダーやITS Connectを全車標準装備とした。価格は¥6,800,000から。
