9月22日、スバル・オブ・アメリカは、2027年型の「WRX」および「BRZ」のエンスージアスト向け限定生産モデルについて一部情報を発表した。 これらの限定モデルは、2026年9月27日に米国ペンシルベニア州ヨークのヨーク・フェアグラウンズで開催される「Boxerfest 2026」の会場において正式に披露される予定である。

公開されたWRXのティザー画像からは、伝統的なブルーのボディカラーを纏ったリアセクションのディテールが確認できた。 トランクフード上部には力強い存在感を放つ大型のリアウイングがそびえ立ち、サーキット走行や高速域でのエアロダイナミクスを意識した本格的な装備であることが見て取れる。 また、リアコンビネーションランプの下部には「WRX」ロゴに加えて鮮やかな赤い「tS」のエンブレムが刻まれており、STIのチューニングスピリットを受け継ぐ特別仕様であることを物語っている。 スバルの六連星エンブレムやシャープな発光ラインを描くテールランプユニットと相まって、スポーティかつアグレッシブなリヤビューが目を引く。
