米中貿易協議始まる 関税措置に加え「TikTok」についても議論
アメリカと中国の高官による貿易協議が14日、スペインのマドリードで始まりました。初日の協議では、関税措置に加え、中国系の動画共有アプリ「TikTok」のアメリカ事業の売却などについて議論が交わされ、協議は15日も続けられるということです。
ロイター通信や中国国営の新華社通信は、14日、スペインの首都マドリードでアメリカと中国の貿易協議が始まったと伝えました。
アメリカと中国は、互いに追加関税を引き下げた上で、一部の関税をことし11月まで停止して貿易協議を進めていて、今回の協議には、アメリカのベッセント財務長官と中国で経済政策を統括する何立峰副首相が参加しています。
ロイター通信はアメリカ政府当局者の話として、初日の協議では、関税措置や経済に加え、中国系の動画共有アプリ「TikTok」の問題について議論が集中したと伝えています。
アメリカ側は、9月17日を期限として「TikTok」のアメリカ事業の売却を求めていて、中国側に対応を迫ったものとみられます。
また協議に先立ち、ベッセント長官はG7＝主要7か国の財務相・中央銀行総裁会議で、各国に対し、ロシアから原油を購入している中国を含む国々への関税を引き上げるよう要請していて、中国によるロシア産原油の購入について議論が行われるかも焦点です。
協議は15日も続けられるということです。
