訪日客向けのPASMOカード登場 羽田・成田空港で買える「TOURIST PASMO」
パスモは、訪日外国人向けのICカード乗車券「TOURIST PASMO」を5月から空港周辺の鉄道駅で発売する。使用可能期間限定のカードとなり、価格は1,000円～10,000円。
「TOURIST PASMO」は、短期間で訪日する外国人向けに販売し、使用期間は発券日から28日間。成田空港では2,000円のカードを、羽田空港では1,000円、2,000円、3,000円、4,000円、10,000円のカードを発売する。いずれもデポジットは含まず、各空港の窓口と自動販売機で販売する。
首都圏をはじめ、全国の交通系ICカード対応の鉄道・バス、電子マネーでの買い物が可能。ただし、払い戻しはできない。
カードデザインはクールでオリエンタルな文化の象徴として海外でも人気の「漢字」をモチーフとし、「旅」の文字を中心に、旅行や観光に関係する漢字をちりばめ、「訪日のお土産」として持ち帰れる。
パスモ/PASMO協議会が、2024年まで訪日外国人向けに「PASMO PASSPORT」を販売していたが、「TOURIST PASMO」はコンセプトを踏襲したものとなる。
