日中関係が冷え込む中、中国北京を訪問している超党派の議員連盟の若手議員は、中国外務省の幹部と会談し、両国間には懸案があるものの意思疎通は重要だとして交流の再開を提案しました。

超党派の日中友好議員連盟に所属する自民党、日本維新の会、国民民主党、中道改革連合、共産党のあわせて8人の若手議員は14日、訪問先の北京で中国外務省の劉彬次官補とおよそ2時間会談しました。

この中で日本側は「両国間には懸案があるものの意思疎通が重要だ」として、人的交流の再開を提案しました。

また、拘束されている日本人を含め、現地に滞在する日本人の安全確保を求めたほか、レアアースなど軍民両用の品目の輸出規制についての懸念を伝えました。

このあと一行は、現地の国際交流団体である「中国人民対外友好協会」の楊万明会長とも会談しました。

訪問団の団長を務める自民党の高村正大衆議院議員は記者団に対し「直接外務省の関係者と会えたのは大きな一歩だ。接触を重ねていくことが最終的に政府間の対話にもつながると期待しており、日中関係が少しでも安定するよう引き続き取り組みたい」と述べました。
