7月10日、イギリスで行なわれている「グッドウッド・フェスティバル・オブ・スピード2025」で、トヨタは新型スーパーカーを公開した。
「TOYOTA GT Concept」なる車名のスーパーカーは、同時に疾走した「TOYOTA GT Racing Concept」のホモロゲーションモデルだ。
TOYOTA GT ConceptはV8ガソリンエンジンを搭載予定。ただし、昨今の厳しい排ガス規制をクリアするべく、何らかの電動化が施される可能性が高い。
スペックの詳細は明かされていないが、GT3の規定に基づき最高出力は500～600ps、車両重量は1300kg以下となるだろう。
TOYOTA GT Conceptの市販時期は2026年頃となる見込み。販売時は、トヨタブランドではなくレクサスブランドになる模様だ。
