石破首相 きょう韓国訪問 イ大統領と首脳会談へ
石破総理大臣は30日に韓国を訪れ、イ・ジェミョン（李在明）大統領との首脳会談に臨みます。首脳による相互往来「シャトル外交」の一環で、両国の関係強化などを確認し、次の政権に成果を引き継ぎたい考えです。
石破総理大臣は30日と10月1日の日程で韓国第2の都市・プサン（釜山）を訪問し、イ・ジェミョン大統領との首脳会談に臨むことにしています。
日韓国交正常化からことしで60年を迎えたことも踏まえ、両国のさらなる関係強化を確認したいとしているほか、人口減少や少子化、首都一極集中といった共通の課題への対応をめぐっても意見が交わされる見通しです。
また来月、韓国のキョンジュ（慶州）で開幕するAPEC＝アジア太平洋経済協力会議の首脳会議に向けた協力も確認するものとみられます。
さらに、会談に先立ち、2001年にJR山手線の駅でホームから転落した人を助けようとして亡くなった留学生の墓を訪れ、慰霊する予定です。
今回の訪問は、イ大統領が先月下旬に就任後初めて日本を訪れたことを受けた、首脳による相互往来「シャトル外交」の一環で、石破総理大臣としては首脳会談の成果を次の政権に引き継ぎたい考えです。
