長野 須坂と岡山 吉備中央町 ふるさと納税の指定取り消し決定
総務省は、ふるさと納税の返礼品に関する基準に違反したとして、長野県須坂市と岡山県吉備中央町について対象自治体としての指定を取り消すことを決めました。
総務省によりますと長野県須坂市は、ふるさと納税の返礼品にしていたシャインマスカットについて、仕入れを担っていた会社が産地を偽装していた事実が判明したにもかかわらず、必要な措置を講じなかったとして、返礼品は地場産品とする基準などに違反したということです。
また、岡山県吉備中央町は、返礼品としていたコメについて、生産者に、買い取り費用などに加えて出荷量に応じた奨励金を交付していたとして、返礼品の調達費用は寄付額の3割以内とする基準に違反したということです。
総務省は、2つの自治体からの聞き取りなどの結果、こうした事実が確認されたとして、今月17日付けでふるさと納税の対象自治体としての指定を取り消すことを決めました。
対象自治体の指定取り消しは、今回が4例目と5例目になります。
村上総務大臣は、閣議のあとの記者会見で「ふるさと納税制度への信頼を損ないかねないゆゆしき事態だと考え、厳正に対応した。各自治体は、制度の趣旨に沿って適切に運用してもらいたい」と述べました。
