ChargeSPOT、新規ユーザーは何度でも30分無料 安全性アピール
モバイルバッテリーシェアサービス「ChargeSPOT」を運営するINFORICHは、ChargeSPOTの新規ユーザーを対象に、期間中何度でも30分無料で利用できる「あんしん充電はじめよう!キャンペーン」を実施する。期間は8月8日～9月30日。

増加するモバイルバッテリーの発火事故を受け、モバイルバッテリーをより安全に利用するためのきっかけづくりを目的にしたキャンペーン。8月7日までにChargeSPOTを利用したことがない人が対象で、期間中は何度でも30分未満の利用が無料になる。エントリーは不要で、アプリをインストールして利用するだけで自動でキャンペーンが適用される。
近年モバイルバッテリーの事故が全国で多発しており、同社は、モバイルバッテリーを提供する企業には“便利さ”だけではなく“安全性”への責任ある対応と、正しい利用方法の啓発が求められていると分析。
ChargeSPOTは、サービス開始当初から安全設計と運用体制を重視し、事故の未然防止に取り組んできたという。バッテリーは過充電、過放電保護回路を標準搭載し、発熱・火災リスクを最小化。バッテリースタンドはすべてリアルタイムで監視し、異常を検知すると迅速に該当バッテリーを回収・交換する体制を構築している。
今後さらに安全性の啓蒙活動を強化し「正しいバッテリーの扱い方」を伝えるとともに、モバイルバッテリーは"持ち歩くのではなく、必要なときに借りる"という新たな選択肢を提案することを目的に、今回のキャンペーンを実施する。
キャンペーンを皮切りに、モバイルバッテリーの正しい使用方法・廃棄方法の啓蒙活動を強化するほか、モバイルバッテリーの安全な充電環境を整える提案も行なっていく。
