ABU総会モンゴルで開催 文化伝統守るためのメディアの役割議論
アジア・太平洋地域の放送機関などが加盟するABU＝アジア太平洋放送連合の総会が、モンゴルで始まり、文化や伝統を守るためのメディアの役割などについて、議論を交わしています。また総会にあわせて、優れた番組などに贈られるABU賞が発表され、特集オーディオドラマ「うつくしい靴」など、NHKの3つの番組が受賞しました。
ABUは、アジア・太平洋地域を中心に66の国と地域の226の放送機関などが加盟し、番組制作や放送技術の分野での協力を進めています。
ABUの1年に1度の総会が14日、モンゴルの首都ウランバートルで始まり、「メディアの役割 文化や伝統を守るために」をテーマに議論を交わしています。
開会式では、ABUを代表して、NHKの井上樹彦副会長があいさつし、「インターネット上には今、偽情報や誤情報、情報操作が氾濫しています。そのようなネット空間に、信頼できる正確な情報を提供できるのが、私たち公共メディアです。今ほど私たちの存在が必要とされている時代はないと考えています。自信をもって前に進んでいきましょう」と訴えました。
また総会にあわせて、優れたテレビやラジオの番組などに贈られるABU賞の授賞式も行われ、318に上る応募作品の中から、NHKの3つの番組が受賞しました。
このうち、ラジオ/オーディオ ドラマ部門の最優秀賞にあたるABU賞に、1足の幻のスニーカーをめぐって、「本物」とは何かを問い直した特集オーディオドラマ「うつくしい靴」が選ばれました。
このほか、テレビ/スクリーン部門の審査員特別賞には、NHKスペシャル「秘境ブータン 天空を駆ける」が、ラジオ/オーディオ パーソナリティ部門の奨励賞には、「みんなでひきこもりラジオ」がそれぞれ選ばれました。
