17日から始まった靖国神社の秋の例大祭にあわせて、高市総理大臣は「真榊」と呼ばれる鉢植えの供え物を奉納しました。
これにあわせて、高市総理大臣は「内閣総理大臣 高市早苗」と記した木札が添えられた「真榊」と呼ばれる鉢植えの供え物を奉納しました。
高市総理大臣は、去年秋に自民党総裁に就任するまでは毎年、春と秋の例大祭の期間中や「終戦の日」に靖国神社に参拝していましたが、去年秋とことし春の例大祭は、期間中の参拝を見送りました。
一方、ことしの「終戦の日」は靖国神社を訪れての参拝はしませんでしたが、数百メートル離れた日本武道館の敷地内から、靖国神社に向かってよう拝しました。
また、去年秋とことし春の例大祭、それにことしの「終戦の日」には私費で玉串料を納めました。
